Our books can be acquired in several ways. You may proceed as follows: Click on the menu (Published Books), locate the book you wish to order. Different Ways of Acquiring Books

Method I. When the paperback version is available on Amazon, you may choose your Marketplace on Amazon and order the book. If you are in Canada, go to amazon.ca, in France amazon.fr, etc. Unfortunately, there is only the Marketplace in Egypt amazon.eg

Method II. We have paperback books available in specific cities, sold at lower prices than those on Amazon. Above, in green background, is the list of the concerned countries and cities. If you wish to acquire a book in these cities or countries, choose the option: Buy the book at a point of sale.\ have it delivered in your city

Method III. If you are not in these locations and the Amazon price is still high for you, you may form a group and propose a collective order of a bundle of books, at least ten books. We will inquire about the postal shipping costs by air or by surface, and subsequently, we will make you an offer that will be significantly cheaper than ordering through Amazon and its shipping fees

Method IV. If you are a reseller or merchant, operating in any country, the above procedure is recommended for you. We will make you an offer

Method V. Electronic versions (BENIP) are sold at a very low price, around 5 dollars. Upon your order, we deliver to you a personalised electronic version, non-printable and protected by a password

The SPAS EDITIONS is a division of the Foundation of the Statistics and Probability African Society which is devoted books and monographs publications. It comes as the natural complement to our scientific journals, which publish short or medium size papers.

The following series are officially launched since January 2017.

SPAS Textbooks Series
This series publishes textbooks on Mathematics in general and in Probability and Statistics in particular, to be used for teaching in the Universities at all levels. The textbooks may be courses or exercises books. It gives the opportunity to Senior African Scholars to write high level books and put them at the disposal of other colleagues in exchange programs. The students in the whole continent, and in the world as well, will particularly benefit from the publications of this series.
SPAS Research Monograph Series
This series publishes extended research that go far beyond the scope of a paper. We suggest to authors of papers of more than one hundred pages to transform it into a research monograph with a significant review part of the treated topic. An oustanding PhD these may be a good departure point for such monographs. Senior scholars are also invited to consider new projects.
SPAS Books Series
This series publishes any kind of Mathematics book.
Examples : Proceedings of conferences, books in honor of distinguished or deceased colleagues, review books, etc.

The SPAS-BOOKS series, already indexed in MathSciNet, publishes a category of authored books with a limited number of authors, not exceeding six. For the contracts applicable to this category, please consult the final tab on this page.

The series also publishes collective volumes, thereby addressing the specific publication needs of a wide range of academic and scientific organizations.

Publications by Mathematical Organizations

National or Regional Mathematical Societies
A national or regional mathematical society may decide to publish an annual volume as part of its scholarly activities. Such a publication may contribute to the professional development and visibility of its members while opening the society more broadly to the international scientific community. In the case of African mathematical societies for which the collection of membership fees may be difficult, publication charges may be requested in order to cover specific production and dissemination costs. Such a volume could, for example, be entitled: Publications of the National Mathematical Society of Congo: Volume 2026.
Thematic Research Networks or Laboratories
Upon completion of a full research programme conducted by a thematic network or research laboratory, the resulting work may be published as a collective SPAS-BOOK volume. Such a volume may also be opened to relevant contributions from researchers outside the organizing network or institution.
Festschrift and In Memoriam Volumes
To celebrate a particularly distinguished colleague who has reached an advanced stage of an academic career, recognition may be given for outstanding research achievements, contributions to education and supervision, or sustained commitment to the development of the discipline. In such circumstances, a SPAS-BOOK volume may be published in the scholar's honour in the form of a Festschrift. The German term Festschrift literally combines Fest, meaning celebration, and Schrift, meaning writing or publication. It commonly refers to a scholarly volume published in honour of a distinguished academic. Similarly, a particularly deserving colleague who has passed away may be honoured through an In Memoriam volume published within the SPAS-BOOKS Collective Volumes series.
Conference Proceedings
The organizing committee of any high-level conference, whether held in person or online, may disseminate the scientific work presented at the event by publishing a carefully selected collection of peer-reviewed contributions as a SPAS-BOOKS collective volume.
Special-Interest Research Groups
A group of researchers working in a particular subdiscipline may decide to stimulate and promote research in that field by initiating a dedicated SPAS-BOOKS collective volume.
Other forms of collective scholarly publication may also be considered.

PEER REVIEW

Each chapter published in these collective volumes is treated as a scholarly article and is subject to a formal peer-review process.
